Creation is the gift I give to myself. Since I was young, I have been taught the resilience of the women who raised me. Never perfect, but always enough. The art of redirection and reinvention was always in their back pocket. Somewhere along the way, I misplaced that thinking and became lacking. In a journey of self-discovery, I decided to reinvent myself again into a person who feels most like herself when she is creating. Creating thoughts. Creating looks. Creating memories. Creating art. Just creating.

LYDIA ZENAYE

I was born in San Diego and moved to LA in 2014 to pursue a degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology with a minor in Society and Genetics from UCLA. Although I graduated cum laude, I ended up working in social media marketing. I now work at a production company, and I love it. Sometimes reinventions just work out.
In my free time, you can find me traveling, probably without an itinerary. I like to cook but I’m bad at it. I hate baking but I’m good at it. I hope through my platform, people are able to see that expression can be through so many mediums, including clothes. I can also hem pants and even sew a top. I hope to reinvent myself into a roller skater, but for now, I will be keeping on my helmet and knee pads.
