I was born & raised in South LA. Since I was young girl I’ve always been enamored by all things beauty and fashion. While other kids rode their bikes, I practiced hairstyles on my “styling head” Barbie doll or played dress up in my church clothes. As I grew older, I turned my fascination with fashion into a career path. I was accepted into FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) before I entered my senior year of high school, and earned my degree at just 19 years old.

Soon after graduating, I began working as a wardrobe stylist for an e-commerce brand. Never did I imagine I would become the one in front of the camera. After constant encouragement from my counterparts, I decided to give modeling a try. It definitely wasn’t an easy transition. I heard so many no’s from agencies because they “already had a model with my look on their board” or as a size 2/4 I “needed to lose more weight”. Little did they know, no’s only made me strive harder. I eventually landed an agency, cut my hair and began booking commercials, billboards and campaigns I never thought I’d be part of. Who would’ve thought a girl from South Central would gain access into an industry that was once so gate kept.
