Shana Purnama, originally from Thailand, is a director whose work is deeply rooted in her Southeast Asian heritage and the everyday influences of the people she encounters. Her approach is personal and intuitive, often transforming real emotions and experiences into visual stories that range from subtly surreal to warmly vulnerable. This blend in her style reflects Purnama’s own journey and connections to her cultural background and international experience.

Gabriel Connelly is a versatile cinematographer and photographer focused on crafting intimate narratives that celebrate the beauty of human vulnerability. Gabriel started his career in film directing short documentary projects for VICE News Tonight on HBO. During his time there, he learned the importance of giving a voice to the overlooked and giving them room to speak their truths without judgment.
